Champ de Cour
Our wines are made exclusively from 100% Gamay Noir à jus blanc, planted on the great terroirs of Moulin-à-Vent: Champ de Cour, Le Moulin-à-Vent, La Rochelle, Les Bois Combes, Les Burdelines, Le Petit Brennay, Gros Vosges and Vierre Manin.
The depth of the pink granite, its weathering and the varied exposures of our parcels give the wine its complexity and structure.
Each vintage is shaped by the climate, which dictates ripeness and fruit expression.
We produce very few bottles each year – around 3,000 – in order to preserve the quality and precision of our work.
Age-worthy, sincere and balanced wines that tell the story of the living world.
Until 2023, Domaine Zéphyr produced a single cuvée: Champ de Cour, a faithful reflection of the Moulin-à-Vent terroir.

Champ de Cour 2023
Auxesia
From the 2023 vintage onwards, this cuvée takes on a new identity and becomes Auxesia, the estate’s Signature cuvée. It embodies the breath of life, the sincerity of the fruit and the precision of the work carried out in both vineyard and cellar.
2023 was a year of contrasts.
A slow-starting spring, followed by heatwave episodes punctuated by storms and cooler days. The vine had to adapt to these variations, gaining in complexity what it lost in regularity. The grapes ripened slowly, producing a wine richer and more nuanced than the previous vintage.
Still young, it needs time to fully express itself. Yet it already carries the promise of a great Moulin-à-Vent: precise, alive and true to its terroir.
This vintage perfectly illustrates our philosophy: accepting nature as it comes, working with it, and allowing the wine to grow at its own pace.
From 2025 onwards, a second cuvée will be introduced: Damia, our Prestige cuvée. Rarer and more structured than our Signature cuvée, it will pay tribute to the strength and depth of our finest terroirs, crafted for long ageing.
Their names, inspired by the Greek goddesses Auxesia and Damia, symbolise fertility and the protection of harvests – two expressions of the same terroir.
